As video shows, you can see that the major processes could be three parts:

1.       Preform injection molding

Necessary equipment and tool: plastic material, preform injection mould, injection machine, auxiliary equipment

It’s pretty significant process for whole project, which requires ensuring the quality of preform with less weight (reduce cost), because the performs are good or not will decide the following stage’s quality.

2.       Bottle blowing molding

Necessary equipment and tool: preforms, blow mould, bottle blowing machine

Key process, no matter how outstanding preform is, if there were something not so good among the blowing machine or tool or technological parameter, final bottles would fail.

3.       Filling and packaging for final product

Cleanliness is a healthy element, especially for food and water. Thus the filling and packaging should ensure the bottle of water safe! So the water source should keep good, then it should pass washing, filling, tightening the lid securely (assembling)

Angle Injection Machine for Bi-color Plastic Product

Bi-color plastic injection solutions could be three types according the double-color injection molding machine’s specific, which you can find in another blog about moulds for two-color product as well. Today, I’d like to talk about the angle injection molding machine for clear dual-color plastic, which you can find in Dakumar (member of Sino Holdings Group).

There are 3 kinds of injection machine for making two-color product, but if just use one injection mould, then it could be two type:

      

      a. Bi-color injection machine with two parallel injection units.

        That achieve two-color cup molding is worked by plate of machine rotating.

        For this machine, the design is pretty different than others, so the price will be much higher, if you bought ever, you would know.

     

      b. Angle Injection machine

        This machine can be equal to a normal SV injection machine + another injection unit perpendicular to machine's body. Like video shows (In my YouTube about bi-color injection molding solution from SINO).

        As this design is simpler than the bi-color injection machine, the investment will be less.

Thus I usually suggest this machine for the beginners and those about to knock at the door to the plastics industry, as it’s better for them to operate with less prior-period investment.

Bi-color Milk Cup Injection Mould

Bi-color plastic product is a wonderful invention in life, especially for dual-color cup, as you could find cup nearly anywhere. Sino Mould offers best solution for making bi-color injection mould as required by partners for above 20-year. There are 4 major series moulds of cup listed:

Series A:

Double color mould (mould revolving) for Angle injection machine

It’s a bi-injection mould with the rotation system. As video shows, you can see that it could get two cups (one is finished and one is ready for second molding) for one-time injection, then the mould core is rotated the mould 90 degrees for injection again, such cycle.

Hence, the mould action and precision and other details should be controlled well.

Series B:

Double color mould (machine revolving) for bi-color injection machine

This is a mould similar to A, but the mould action is normal, because the revolve to achieve two-color cup molding is worked by machine, you can find that it’s exactly the plate of machine moving to rotate the mould for second again.

Thus, what should pay more attention is the mould design for higher precision and shorter cycle time, except the matching to machine.

Series C:

Mixed color mould, it’s normal as plastic mould; just require the injection machine, so just list for your reference this time.

Series D:

Overmolding mould for normal injection machine

Usually, they are two similar moulds with sequent producing, one after the other, which require much higher sensitivity of design, thus could achieve more smooth procedure, better cup quality, and larger benefits (less investment as it could use normal injection machine to mold bi-color cup while no plan for double-color injection machine in the near future).
